Try reinstalling the Bluetooth Driver if it is available on the support page to troubleshoot the issue. You can download and install the driver by putting the exact model # of your computer here: http://esupport.sony.com/
Next, try to restart the Bluetooth service manually from the service window following all the steps mentioned below:
a. Press the Windows+R keys together to open the Run window, type services.msc and hit enter. b. From the list of items, double click Bluetooth Support Service. c. Change the startup type to Automatic and click Start button to start service. d. Click Apply and then click ok. e. Check if the issue persists.
Next, perform a system restore to an earlier time when it was working fine:
a. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search. (If you're using a mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer down, and then click Search.) Enter Recovery in the search box, tap or click Settings, and then tap or click Recovery.
b. Tap or click Open System Restore, and follow the prompts.
Goodmorning. I'm Italian so apologize me for errors. I bought this VAIO notebook 2 moths ago with Windows 8 pre-installed (SVE1512Y1ESI). I'm havin some issues now with some things.
A- The first is exactly the same of kevydon2. That is when I start my PC, two messages come out:
BTtray could not be started.
BtvStack could not be started.
These after I upgrade the bluetooth drivers with your VAIO Update. I can't execute them manually (nothing appens when I try) and I can't re-install bluetooth drivers (the process stops before ending). I don't know what to do.
B- Second problem: in Windows 8, in msconfig.exe, the services we want to choose that start in the boot aren't there anymore. They are in the task manager, but I'm not able to see them no more, I don't know why.
This is the screenshot to make you understand....
C- My notebook model doesn't appear in the sony support, so it is impossible to me to find drivers on the site.
