SZ360P "speed" / "stamina" switch not working

i have a 4 year old SZ 360P that has a "speed" / "stamina" switch on it. The switch is set to "speed" setting, but the indicator light for "stamina" is on. In "stamina" mode the system does not recognize or use the Nvidia video processor and i cant use those capabilities. the physical switch just changes some settings in the vaio system. how can i by-pass what looks like a broken switch and change the systems myself to the "speed" settings and get the nvidia processor working? thanks,

Re: SZ360P "speed" / "stamina" switch not working

USER-907338,

Currently there is no software switch for us to switch the hybrid graphics. We may have a simple software issue and we need to reinstall the Notebook Util drivers which can be downloaded here;

Pete,

I just tried this, but it did not fix the problem. Any other thoughts?

Chris
