Sony alpha a6000

Recently I bought the Sony a6000 mirrorless camera. When I bought the camera it came with a 16-50mm lens. I was wondering what is the best lens or accessory for a beginner in photography to buy and use to create sharp and great images? Also if possible can someone please explain me the rules of depth of field?

Re: Sony alpha a6000

Hi Yehuda_Rubin,

Thank you for considering Sony Community!

We recommend using a prime lens to shoot sharp images for a beginner.

One good example is the Sony 50mm f/1.8 lens (SEL50F18).

“Depth of field” refers to the range of distances from the camera within which photographed objects will appear acceptably sharp.
